Dear Geof:
Larry and I want to write to express our sincere appreciation and gratitude for the time and effort you and the while crew put into completing our home and making our dream a reality. The quality, workmanship and professionalism of Felton Construction is like no other.
It says a lot when a contractor as yourself, is so willing and happy to help people like us who were in such a jam and to tackle the kind of project we were so desperate to finish. Before you came into our lives, it had seemed, as all hope was lost. Now, that is just a memory and we are so much better off because of it.
The first person we spoke with at your company was Teri Peaden. She made us fell comfortable and welcome right away. She did a fabulous job getting the ball rolling and it was no easy task, to put it mildly, cleaning up the mess that had been previously created for us. In the beginning we seemed to hit one hurdle after another all due to the unfortunate situation that was thrown upon us. But Teri never skipped a beat, being as persistent as could be. It seemed like no time we were well on our way to becoming a part of the Felton family. Thanks to Teri â“ Larry and I remained sane!
As we were introduced to Gary Felton, it become apparent that we were going to enjoy this journey that was right ahead of us. Gary always made us feel like we were his number one priority which is something we were definitely not used to, and at first, did not know how to accept that. Suzi Tanner was another blessing to us. She and Gary did Gary did their very best to make sure we were completely satisfied with every aspect of the project. We will never be able to thank them enough.
Another thing we found hard to get used to was the constant line of communication. There were days I spoke to Gary and Suzi more than my own family and we soon came realize that we really mattered to you.
I also want to tell you how much we appreciate the hard work Kevin Burr put into our project. Even though he seemed like he was âœbehind the scenesâ, we know how much he did for us. He was absolutely wonderful and we couldnâ™t have gotten to know a nicer man.
To personally thank everyone would make this letter go on forever. For anyone we did not mention here, Larry and I thank them from the bottom of our hearts. We really do consider you all a part of our family and have to say, miss the day-to-day contact with everyone. You all have been a blessing to our family and that is something we will never forget.
Sincerely

To Whom it May Concern,
We contracted with Felton Construction Company this year to build two 600 sq. ft. cottages on our property.
We found everyone associated with Felton Construction to be courteous at all times. They were always up front about that we could expect from them. They always performed the things that were expected of them in a timely manner. We were very satisfied with the way they worked with local government agencies to get the job going and to keep it moving. We were given a five-month schedule and the job was completed in three months.
They tried to address any concerns that we had in advance and, whenever there was a problem, they addressed the problem to our satisfaction, also in timely fashion. The results have met our expectations and our guests are enjoying the cottages immensely. Their accounting has been above board and fair. They seem to be trustworthy and able to resist the temptation to take advance of their clients. We heartily recommend them to others and hope to use Felton Construction again o our final two cottages.

A Big Thank You!
Dear Felton Construction and Staff:
Many thanks to everyone who was involved with the renovating of our little cottage here on Lake Winnemissett drive. We love it! We give Felton Construction A+ and appreciate all the hard work, opinions and communication that went alon with this process. Each person that my husband and I dealt with was great! We cannot believe how fantastic the cottage looks and how fortunate we were to deal with good people as Geof, Chad, Chuck and all the rest of the Felton staff and sub-contractors. We look forward to having more work done.
Sincerely,

Dear Mr. Felton:
I want to thank Felton Construction, Inc. for the remarkable remodeling job done in replacing vinyl siding with brick on the front and side of my sunroom. Also, the removal of an exterior door on one wall and replacing paneling to match existing interior wall, paint and finish.
The matching of the exterior brick and interior finish is perfect and I am happy with the remodeling project.
I especially appreciated the open communication we had. When I had questions, I felt free to call the office or project superintendent at any time.
When I need construction work done, I will definitely call your company, which I recommend highly.
Sincerely,

Gertrude Stratton

To whom it may concern
Historic Preservation has always been a priority within the City of Deland. When the City of DeLand received responsibility for the historic Dutton House, as a result of the hurricanes that pounded our state in 2005 the City Commission looked at the opportunity with anticipation and excitement at the endless possibilities and economic benefits the restoration and rehabilitation of this historic gem would bestow on citizens and visitors alike.
Our first major hurdle with the Dutton House was hiring a contractor. The City of DeLand wanted to find a contractor who not only had the skills and knowledge to take on the Dutton House but who also had a strong sense on community spirit.
The Dutton House is not your average construction project. It is not even your average restoration project. The Dutton House restoration is completely funded by grant funds, which require us to restore the house exactly the way it was when it was built in 1908-1910. Every sash, every molding, if the original cannot be restored, it has to fabricated using todayâ™s tools like they did in 1908.
It takes an amazing amount of research and dedication to find resources for the various elaborate architectural details existing in the Dutton House. As the City of DeLandâ™s Historic Preservation Officer I work with many home owners and builder on various restoration projects and when asked who I recommend, the answer is always the same, Felton Construction. Everyone involved, from the office staff to the boys working at the house have done a wonderful job and I canâ™t recommend them enough.
I am please to provide this letter support for Felton Constructionâ™s future endeavors. If you have any questions, please donâ™t hesitate to contact me at 386-626-7112.
Sincerely,

Elysha Dunagan
