Tudor House
In February of 2007, while everyone was sleeping peacefully, DeLand was hit in the early morning hours with 3 killer tornados. This is the last house to be completed on one of the quaint streets devastated by those tornados. The insurance company inspecting the damage, totaled the existing house but not the swimming pool. Zoning and set backs had changed over the years and it was a bit of a design challenge to build the owners an even larger home in between the new encroaching front setbacks and the existing pool. The finished project is a beautiful, brick home wrapped tightly around the existing pool but still offering an open, airy feel.
